pickle update

So I tried the pickles for the first time, and they still taste…green? They still taste more cucumbery than pickley. Does anyone know if this is because I did something wrong or they just need more time to pickle? This is my first time making pickles so I’m not sure what should be happening. Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated.

I looked at the recipe you used and the problem might be the lack of vinegar? Brine is usually half water/half vinegar. I hope this helps!

maybe that is what it is, I just followed the measurements on the package of pickle mix. They taste normal now, I guess it just took longer than they suggested it would (7-10 days). It was more like 3 weeks before they tasted good.
